The BigFishLittleFish Halloween Spooktacular is a family rave designed for parents and children aged 0-8 to dance together in a club-like atmosphere. DJ Louise + 1 (Distant Planet) will deliver a full vinyl set of acid house, jungle and crossover sounds across more than 30 years of underground credibility.
Beyond the dancefloor - filled with foam, bubbles and balloons and culminating in a parachute dance - there is creepy-crafty fun on the Wacky Wheadon Craft tables with giant mural, themed crafts and playdoh, plus a play area with tents and tunnels. Face painter Doxa Faces will transform children into spooky characters. Fancy dress encouraged.
The eight-time Arts Council Fantastic for Families Award winner brings the "post-rave generation of parents" together for what fans call "the best thing we do together as a family". Music is played at safe levels monitored by WHO guidelines, with low lighting (no strobes). A licensed bar and outdoor terrace are available for adults. Buggies must be left in the outdoor buggy park. This is a standing/dancing event with limited seating on concrete floors.
