Join the Black Men-Talk Health Village, a dedicated monthly gathering for men of the African-Caribbean diaspora to discuss wellness and mental health in a supportive, judgment-free environment. Facilitated by Joshua Street of The U Collective, these sessions bring together melanated men to share experiences, break down stigma, and access resources for better mental and emotional wellbeing.
Each evening features structured discussions exploring masculinity, mental health barriers, self-reflection for healing, and peer-to-peer community support. The programme runs from 18:30 to 21:30, with an optional post-event meal from 22:00 to 23:00. Whether you're managing mental health challenges, supporting others, or simply deepening your understanding, this transformative space welcomes all African-Caribbean men—cisgender, transgender, and non-binary—regardless of age, background, religion, or prior therapy experience.
Note: This event is designed exclusively for men of the African-Caribbean diaspora (including African, Caribbean, Polynesian heritage or combinations thereof). Women and non-diaspora participants are asked not to attend, though tickets may be purchased for someone else to attend in your place.
