Join Mothers at Home Matter on their 35th Anniversary for a full-day conference dedicated to re-evaluating motherhood and family life. Speakers include Steve Biddulph, an internationally renowned child psychologist and author of bestselling parenting books; Professor Sam Wass, a developmental cognitive neuroscientist from the University of East London exploring how early environments shape children's development; Anne Fennell, Chair of MAHM and President of the European Federation of Parents and Carers at Home, discussing the launch of a new international movement reclaiming motherhood; and Sophia Worringer from the Centre for Social Justice, heading a new project on valuing motherhood.
The conference brings together mothers and families to explore how society can better support mothering, children's needs, and family flourishing. Whether attending in person or online, you will have access to insightful discussions and networking opportunities. Babies and young children are welcome; a side room with a live link to the main conference, toys and play space is provided. Complimentary tickets are available for those facing financial barriers—email [email protected] to request.
An early bird ticket option was available for September bookings. Recordings of the full day will be sent to all ticket holders, allowing you to catch up at your own time. If you cannot travel to London, consider joining with local mums for a watch event in your area through the MAHM community network.
