POSTPOSTPOST Vol. II brings together art, technology, and live discussion in an evening of cultural commentary and experiential performance. The event opens with a talk featuring Dr Isabel Millar, a philosopher and psychoanalytic theorist, who will engage in live conversation with the publication's co-editors Al Hassan Elwan and Ruba Al-Sweel. Millar's research spans artificial intelligence and psychoanalysis—she authored the critically acclaimed The Psychoanalysis of Artificial Intelligence (Palgrave 2021) and the forthcoming Patipolitics with Bloomsbury.
The evening also debuts Justin Urbach's PALE LIGHT//EYES SHONE (2026), a three-channel video installation commissioned by Autotelic Foundation. The work explores the convergence of bodies, machines, and landscapes through a sci-fi narrative set in a virtual production studio. Three "Agents" use cameras, sensors, and movement within a giant circular LED wall to build worlds between reality and simulation. Blending thermal vision, point clouds, glitches, and cinematic imagery, the film examines how technology shapes perception and the environments we inhabit. The screening runs from 6:00pm–7:30pm at full volume, then continues at reduced volume throughout the evening. For the full viewing experience, the installation is also available at The Bacon Factory on 14 November from 12:00–18:00.
After the talk, DJ sets from Nihal El Aasar and Chooc Ly extend the event into the night, with drinks available throughout. No registration is required—simply arrive and join the conversation.
