Celebrate the legacy of The Action, the iconic 1960s mod band widely considered the best of their era, at this special book launch and fundraiser. The writers of the new book The Action Empty Shadows join forces with event organisers Uncertain Ratio for an evening honouring the band's timeless appeal and influence on legends like Steve Marriott, Paul Weller and Steve Mason.
The night features live music from Darren Brooker, Abigail Hickey (Uncertain Ratio) and Mark Raison (Monkey Picks), who will spin soul and mod classics throughout the evening. Further performances to be announced. This is a fundraising event for the Goldhawk venue, held at its current home, Shepherd's Bush Social Club—a venue steeped in mod history.
Only 100 tickets are available for this unmissable celebration in the heart of mod folklore.
