Timba y Casino launches a new monthly Cuban night in central London, celebrating the island's vibrant dance music culture. Expect an evening blending authentic Cuban rhythms, from classic Son and Salsa Cubana to contemporary Timba, curated by DJ Rich and guests who will guide listeners through both beloved classics and fresh discoveries.
The evening runs in three parts: a Casino dance class from 8–9pm with instructor Oscle Orduñez (Intermediate+ level, with lower-level options available), followed by an open social dance floor from 9pm until 2am. Whether you're an experienced Casinero, a regular on the London Cuban scene, or simply curious about the music and dance, all are welcome—come with friends, a partner, or solo, and come ready to dance.
This inaugural event falls on Halloween; costumes are encouraged but optional. The organisers have been embedded in London's Cuban community since 2000, bringing together dancers, DJs and musicians to create a welcoming, high-energy space dedicated to great music and authentic Cuban energy.
