An intimate evening celebrating women who refused to let doubt define their limits. Hosted by broadcaster Michelle Ford, this event brings together three extraordinary women—singer-songwriter Starling, singer-songwriter Alexis Strum, and bestselling author B.A. Paris—for honest, in-depth conversations about their journeys, setbacks, rejections and moments of reinvention.
Starling, discovered by Massive Attack, ignored those who said she "couldn't sing" and built a devoted following with fearless, distinctive music. Alexis returned to performing after being cancelled 23 years ago; her work has been nominated for Hollywood Independent Music Awards and performed on BBC's Sunday Morning Live. B.A. Paris, author of Behind Closed Doors (6+ million copies sold, translated into 40+ languages), brings her latest psychological thriller to the stage.
The evening features live music and readings, individual interviews with each guest, audience Q&A, and the chance to meet the women over a drink. A portion of ticket sales supports The DASH Charity, which helps individuals and families experiencing domestic abuse.
The entire event will be recorded as a special episode of Michelle Ford Interviews and featured on Brooklands Radio.
